Did you know Frederick, Maryland is among the top ten places to live in the nation? We sure are! Frederick has emerged over the years through revitalization efforts that helped turn the downtown area into one of the best cities to live, work, and play. From its historical charm to modern shops and restaurants, Arts and Entertainment District, parks and recreation, and small business, it seems folks of all ages are calling Frederick home.

For 22 years now Frederick has been celebrating the “Best of Frederick” by polling the surrounding community to cast their votes for the best restaurants, services and many other things that make Frederick County great. This year’s votes poured in by the thousands, spurred by Frederick Magazine’s marketing and individual “campaigning” by various businesses.

We are happy to announce that “Madrones” was voted the winner of “Best New Restaurant” in Frederick! We couldn’t have done it without all our fans out there. Thank you to everyone who voted for us. We greatly appreciate you making us number “1”!

Here’s what Frederick Magazine posted about us:

New Restaurant: Madrones

Almost everything in Frederick’s Clemson Corner development looks new, which makes Madrones’ warm, cozy feel—as if it’s been a local staple for years—all the more impressive. A broad menu features something for everyone, but definitely try the roasted prime rib or the crab cakes.  Also, the attractive bar features fruit-infused cocktails and an excellent selection of craft beer. www.madrones.net
