Roadtripping to the Pacific Northwest: November Specials at Madrones

November Specials Madrones

We invite you to journey into Cascadia with Madrones’ fantastic specials this November. Our delicious salmon will leave you with dreams of the crisp Pacific Ocean air, and our special wines will drive your mind through the stony mountains of Northern California. Let’s pack up the car, put on Jimi Hendrix and hit the road. It’s time to visit to the Pacific Northwest right at home.

Entrée Special:

Grilled Salmon with Pasta Pesto, Baby Shrimp and Balsamic Glaze Hickory: Our grilled salmon lay on a bed of warm linguini with sautéed baby shrimp and baby spinach. The dish is tossed with pesto and served overtop a balsamic glaze then elegantly topped with balsamic soaked Roma tomatoes and fresh grated Reggiano cheese. Try it for $20.90

Featured Wines:

Chenin Blanc, “Dry Oak:” Clarksburg, Calif. – This sinfully delicious wine is good by the sip and great by the gulp. Its light texture and full body make for a pleasing surprise blend, and the tropical melon flavors will make you wish the Rocky Mountain rivers were made of this wine. Try a glass for $7, or purchase a bottle for $24.

Steelhead Pinot Noir: Sonoma County, Calif. – This complex mixture of red and dark fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, along with hints of baking spice and subtle toasty oak will leave you longing for the cool coastal vibes of Northern California. Try a glass for $7, or purchase a bottle for $24.

We can’t take you to Mount Hood, but let your Wednesdays erupt with happiness from half-price bottles of our featured wines.

Featured Cocktails:

The Pacific Northwest is hip and happening. From sparkly vampires and Microsoft millionaires in Washington to the coffee-toting, bike-friendly hipsters of Oregon, the Pacific Northwest is oh-so-trendy. It’s no coincidence that our fashionable cocktails come with the same vibe.

“Old Time Favorite:” Sloe Gin Fizz – Even Harry Potter would consider substituting his butterbeer for this refreshing British import. Made from tarty, gin-soaked sloe plum, this concoction is a wild blend of sloe gin liquor, gin, fresh lemon and bubbly. Cheers, mate! Try it for $8.

The “Hipster:” Suffering Bastard – Yes, you read that right. This chic cocktail is a blend of bourbon, gin, lime and ginger beer. Drink up for $9.

Visit Madrones this November to roadtrip with our all-the-rage specials to the Pacific Northwest and all its glory. Come one, come all!

From all of us at Madrones, we hope to see you soon.
